Please for the Sake of Humanity

“They don’t know what love is. Here they learn what hate is, and I am so sad that they might never know love because hate came first.” -A.S King

I might be a little late posting this in response to recent events such as the Orlando shootings or Istanbul bombing but then again, there will always be hate and misunderstandings in this world.
You’ve probably heard or read this before but Islam is a religion of peace. But to be honest I don’t want to convince you or make this post any longer by stating all these other facts about my religion because that’s not the point of this post.
The point I want to make is that life is too short to be closed minded. PLEASE LIVE YOUR LIFE. SEE the world through your OWN eyes. THINK for yourself and think of others. We live in a world where we are heavily influenced by the media and social media. So if you use it, then use it to gain knowledge, to have a better understanding, spread love and to make the world a better place. If you give out good or take in good, then good things will bound to happen.
We humans are not perfect and nothing in this world will ever be. So we need to look out and help one another and to understand and accept each other’s differences.
Please, please, please for the sake of humanity spread love and not hate. And please pray for the world. Ameen.

I'm a '97, Malaysian, Muslim, westernised, Rumi loving kiwi and feminist, who is still a bit naive at times but have a lot of wisdom to tell you. This blog will have a bit of everything such as faith, poetry, makeup/beauty and life/relationships advice, reviews, responses to current events, travel and maybe some fashion inspo. My starting this blog was due to an epiphany where I realised that this life is too short to be closed minded, to have not experienced life or at least tried to pursue your passions or dreams. I hope to inspire, advise or give you another perspective on things that matters or doesn't really matter. If my posts had put a smile on your face, made you think or sets a fire to your soul, then please let me know in the comments below.
